DayPocket Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 4, 2026

Overview

DayPocket is an offline-first lifestyle productivity app. It is designed to work without an account, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or a backend service.

Information stored on your device

DayPocket stores focus-session history, habits and their completion records, shopping lists and list items, and timer preferences locally on your device. When you select a photo with Android’s system photo picker, the photo is accessed and processed locally on your device. Edited photo exports are written only to the location you choose, and a temporary local copy may be created only to support sharing.

How photos are handled

Photo crop, resize, JPEG or WebP compression, export, and sharing preparation happen on-device. DayPocket does not upload selected photos or edited photos to a server. The original photo remains in its existing device location unless you choose to export a new edited copy.

Permissions

DayPocket requests notification permission only after you choose to enable focus-session alerts. Photo selection uses Android’s system photo picker; DayPocket does not request broad storage or media-library access.

No sale or sharing of personal data

DayPocket does not sell, rent, share, or disclose personal data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing. It has no user account, cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party data-collection service.

Your choices and retention

You can export or delete DayPocket’s local focus, habit, and list data from Settings. Deleting app data removes the data stored by DayPocket on this device. Photo exports saved to a location you selected are controlled by you and can be deleted from that location. Android backup is disabled for DayPocket.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be made available in the app and at the published privacy-policy link before the change takes effect.
